Good questions. Straight answers.

Your IT questions,
answered.

Choosing an IT partner should feel clearer, not more complicated. Here is how we approach support, security and the transition to a better IT relationship.

Working together

The relationship, the responsibilities and the people behind your IT.

What does managed IT include?

Managed IT brings ongoing support, system monitoring, device management, maintenance, vendor coordination and technology planning into one accountable relationship. The exact scope depends on your environment and agreement. We work through what is covered, what needs a separate project and who owns each responsibility before getting started.

Can XceedIT work with our internal IT team?

Absolutely. A co-managed relationship can add help desk capacity, security expertise, cloud administration or project support while your team retains its role. We agree on responsibilities, escalation paths and access so the arrangement fills gaps without creating confusion.

Can you support employees in multiple states?

Yes. Standardized device management, cloud administration and secure remote support let us support distributed teams nationwide. We are based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Where work requires someone on site, we discuss the location, scope and arrangements as part of planning.

How is pricing determined?

We start with your people, locations, devices, applications and support needs, then consider the security and operational work required. The review helps define an appropriate scope and proposal. We explain recurring services and project work separately so you can make an informed decision.

Security, cloud & smarter systems

What we help protect, connect and improve.

What cybersecurity services do you provide?

Our capabilities include managed detection and response, endpoint and identity protection, email security, threat hunting, vulnerability management, penetration testing, SIEM/SOC services and incident readiness. We help select and coordinate the appropriate layers for your risks and environment rather than assuming every organization needs the same package.

Is security monitoring the same as help desk availability?

No. Security monitoring focuses on detecting and investigating suspicious activity; help desk support addresses users and everyday technology issues. Coverage, response expectations and escalation arrangements should be clear in your service scope. We discuss those separately so you know what to expect.

Do you manage Microsoft 365 and Azure?

Yes. We support licensing, migrations, user lifecycle management, identity security, secure configuration and ongoing administration. We can also help with collaboration across Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, with attention to how information is shared and accessed.

Can you help with compliance requirements?

We help organize risk assessments, technical safeguards, policies, evidence and recurring reviews around the requirements relevant to your organization. Applicability depends on your data, industry, contracts and jurisdiction. We work alongside your advisors; IT services alone do not guarantee compliance.

Can you build applications or connect our existing systems?

Yes. We help with web-based applications, SharePoint solutions and integrations between business systems. We start with the workflow: where information is entered twice, approvals stall or teams cannot find what they need. AI and automation can be part of the solution when they add practical value and the data can be handled appropriately.

How do you approach backups and recovery?

A successful backup is only one part of being ready. We help identify the systems that must recover first, clarify responsibilities, plan protected copies and test the path back to useful work. Recovery targets depend on your priorities, system dependencies and the solution selected.

Getting started

A clear next step, without pressure or jargon.

What happens during an IT review?

We start with what is working, what is frustrating your team and what you want to improve. We discuss your environment, immediate concerns and business priorities, then identify a practical next step. You do not need to arrive with a complete technical inventory.

What does onboarding look like?

We inventory systems, document access, identify urgent risks and coordinate a structured transfer. Together we prioritize what needs attention first and plan changes around your operations. Timing depends on the environment, access to information and any dependencies on existing providers.

Can you help us move from another IT provider?

Yes. We help plan the handoff of documentation, accounts, vendor contacts and support responsibilities. Clear ownership and coordination with your current provider are important. We review dependencies and contractual timing with you before making changes.

What should I send with my initial request?

A short overview is enough: your company, team size, main concerns and any upcoming deadline or project. Please do not include passwords or sensitive client information in the form. We can arrange an appropriate way to collect technical details after the initial conversation.

Still have a question?

Let’s talk about your situation.

We’ll help you find the practical next step.
