A report is summarized before you\u2019ve read it. A system suggests an action and, increasingly, carries it out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">None of this feels unusual anymore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI isn\u2019t only helping people do work. It\u2019s starting to shape how work gets done, and in some cases, what decisions get made along the way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that raises an interesting question. How much of what\u2019s happening in your business right now is being influenced by something you don\u2019t fully see?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI agents aren\u2019t tools sitting in one place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They\u2019re being built into workflows, stitched between systems, and given permission to act across different parts of your business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They can access information, make updates, and trigger actions without needing someone to oversee each step.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s where things can drift.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of the time, everything looks like it\u2019s working well. Tasks are completed faster. Responses are quicker. The team feels more efficient.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But influence is spreading.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And when influence spreads without visibility, it becomes harder to answer questions as simple as:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why did that happen?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why was that email sent that way?\u2028<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why was that decision made?\u2028<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why did that data end up there?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a customer challenges something, or if there\u2019s a compliance issue, or even an internal mistake, you need to be able to trace it back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without a clear view of where AI is involved, you can end up in a position where outcomes are harder to explain than they should be.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And when something can\u2019t be explained clearly, it becomes harder to control.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s also a subtle shift in accountability.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a person makes a decision, ownership is obvious.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When an AI-driven process contributes to that decision, responsibility can become less clear. Was it the tool? The setup? The data it was trained on?
